Mary Mickelson-Henneberg was born, raised and lived in the Seattle vicinity most of her life. She moved to Columbus, OH in 2001 and began crafting her glass art jewelry in 2008 as "Mary Henneberg Jewelry".  She currently resides in Big Lake, AK. and has also changed the name of her business to "Mary Mickelson Jewelry".

 

Always involved in arts and crafts, and being a creative individual, Mary began learning the art of stained glass  in early 2008 and gradually evolved into glass fusion. The art of glass fusion took Mary into an entirely new realm of creativity by allowing her to design jewelry, and she hasn't looked back!  She is self-taught and has mastered the techniques necessary to create beautiful pieces of wearable glass art jewelry.

 

Completely committed to her artwork and the Glass Art Industry, her main focus is creating wearable designer and custom glass art jewelry. All of her creations are made of high quality fused and dichroic glass, constructed mainly of sterling silver, fine silver, swarovski crystals,  glass, natural shell and semi-precious stone beads to enhance each design.

 

Mary's designs have been walked on the runways in New York City, The Hamptons and many other venues on the East Coast and Midwest.  Currently, plans for an Art Gallery and Studio are in the works.  This is where the magic will happen!  She is especially interested in creating custom pieces for everyone's unique style.
